When you need to extract just a few key pages from a hundreds-of-pages-long PDF, traditional methods can be time-consuming and inefficient. This tool utilizes browser-side PDF parsing technology, allowing you to precisely extract single pages (e.g., "3"), non-consecutive pages (e.g., "1,5,7"), or continuous ranges (e.g., "10-15"). It outputs an independent PDF file while preserving the original layout and formatting. A PDF page refers to a single content page within the document, with page numbering starting from 1.
Q: Why is the split file larger than the original?
Short answer: This is caused by rebuilding the PDF structure. Solution: You can use a PDF compression tool for secondary processing.
Q: Can I split an encrypted PDF file?
This tool only supports PDFs without password protection. If you need to process an encrypted document, please use a decryption tool to remove the password restriction first.
Files over 20MB must be compressed first. Incorrect page number inputs will cause extraction to fail. We recommend using Chromium-based browsers for the best compatibility.
Typical use cases: Extracting only the reference pages of an academic paper (e.g., "23-28"), the signature page of a contract (e.g., "7"), or key chapters when merging multiple documents. Note: Scanned PDFs might be recognized as single-page images; we recommend using text-searchable PDFs whenever possible.
